Why Convert PDF Pages to JPG Images?
PDFs are the standard format for documents, but images are the standard format for the web, presentations, social media, and design tools. Converting PDF pages to JPG lets you use document content as images in PowerPoint, Figma, Canva, Google Slides, or any tool that accepts image files.
Common use cases include turning a report's executive summary into a preview image for an email, converting a product data sheet to shareable JPGs for a trade show, extracting a diagram from a technical PDF to embed in a wiki or Notion page, and creating social media graphics from a beautifully formatted PDF brochure.
DPI explained:DPI (dots per inch) controls the pixel density of the output image. At 150 DPI, an A4 page (297mm × 210mm) becomes approximately 1754 × 1240 pixels — crisp on any screen. At 300 DPI it becomes 3508 × 2480 pixels — suitable for high-resolution print or close-up inspection. At 72 DPI it's 842 × 595 pixels — small and fast to share.
MergeAny uses PyMuPDF (also known as fitz) — the same rendering engine used by professional PDF tools — for accurate, color-correct, anti-aliased output. Each page is rendered at your chosen DPI and saved as a high-quality JPEG.
DPI Comparison for A4 Pages
| DPI | Output Resolution | File Size (approx.) | Best For |
|---|---|---|---|

| 150 DPI | 1754 × 1240 px | ~300–700 KB | Screen viewing, presentations |
| 300 DPI | 3508 × 2480 px | ~1–3 MB | Print quality, close inspection |
