How to Merge JPG to PDF Online

01

Upload Your JPG Images

Drag and drop your JPG, JPEG, or PNG files into the tool. Reorder them by dragging — the order you set is the order they'll appear in your PDF.

02

Choose PDF Settings

Pick a page size (A4, US Letter, or fit-to-image), set orientation (auto, portrait, or landscape), and add margins for printing if you need them.

03

Merge & Download PDF

Click Merge — your single PDF is generated server-side, returned in seconds, and your source files are deleted. Save the PDF and share or print it.

Why convert JPG to PDF?

JPG is a great format for individual photos, but the moment you have more than oneimage to share — a multi-page scan, a digital portfolio, a photo book, or a set of receipts — JPG starts to fall apart. Recipients have to download every file separately, the order isn't preserved, and printers don't know how to handle them as a single document.

PDF solves all of this. One file, fixed ordering, consistent rendering across every device, and the format every printer, email gateway, and government portal already accepts. Converting your JPGs to PDF is the difference between "here are 12 images" and "here is the document."

MergeAny's JPG to PDF converter is built for that handoff. It preserves your image quality, lets you choose between print-ready page sizes (A4, US Letter) and fit-to-image, and produces a clean PDF with no watermark in seconds. It runs entirely in your browser plus a stateless backend that deletes your files the moment the merge finishes.

Settings explained

PDF Settings That Actually Matter

Page size

A4 (210×297 mm) is the default for most of the world. US Letter (8.5×11 in) is for North America. Fit-to-image makes each PDF page exactly match its source JPG — best for screenshots and non-standard aspect ratios where margins look wrong.

Tip: Use A4 or Letter when you plan to print. Use fit-to-image when the recipient will read on screen.

Orientation

Auto detects each image's aspect ratio and rotates the PDF page accordingly — taller photos go portrait, wider photos go landscape. Portrait or Landscapelocks every page in one direction, useful when you're mixing screenshots with mismatched ratios.

Tip: Auto is right 95% of the time. Lock orientation only if your PDF will be bound or stapled.

Margins

Margins add white space around each image. Use 0 for edge-to-edge image-only PDFs (best for digital sharing). Use 10–20 mmfor printed documents so binding clamps and printer trims don't cut into your content.

Tip: If you're uploading a PDF to a portal that has its own margin requirements (e.g. courts, immigration), check their spec first.

JPG to PDF vs. other tools

If you've already used iLovePDF, SmallPDF, or Adobe's online converter, you know the pattern: free tier, then a paywall the moment you need more than 2 files, a watermark, or an account. MergeAny doesn't do any of that. The tool is free at scale, the output has no watermark, and there's no signup wall blocking you from saving your file.

Compared to Adobe Acrobat's desktop app, MergeAny doesn't require a download or a license — useful when you're on a borrowed computer, a Chromebook, or your phone. Compared to native macOS Preview or Windows Print-to-PDF, MergeAny preserves your file ordering and gives you a real settings panel rather than a single "just print it" default.

The trade-off: MergeAny is a focused converter, not a full PDF editor. If you need to OCR scanned text, e-sign a contract, or rearrange pages inside an existing PDF, use a dedicated PDF editor. For combining JPGs into a single document, MergeAny is the fastest path with no strings attached.
