Merge PDF Files Free

Combine multiple PDF files into one online. Drag to reorder, pick page ranges per file, rotate sideways scans. Free, secure, no signup, no watermark.

MergeAny combines two or more PDF files into a single PDF directly in your browser. The merge is lossless — pages are copied verbatim, fonts and images preserved exactly. Pick page ranges per file (e.g. only pages 1-3 from one PDF, all pages from another), rotate sideways scans, and reorder by dragging. Files are deleted from our servers seconds after the merge.

How to Merge PDF Files Online

01

Upload Your PDFs

Drag and drop two or more PDF files into the tool. You can upload up to 20 files at once, each up to 50 MB.

02

Reorder, Pick Pages, Rotate

Drag the PDFs into the order you want, type page ranges (e.g. "1-3, 7") to keep only the pages you need, and rotate any file 90/180/270° if it's sideways.

03

Merge & Download

Click Merge — your single PDF is built server-side, returned in seconds, and your source files are deleted. Save it and share or print.

Why merge PDFs?

PDFs are the universal document format — they print the same on every device, every operating system, every printer. But they tend to arrive in pieces: a contract is split across three signed pages, a research paper has its references in a separate file, scanned chapters of a book come as one PDF per chapter. Sending or filing them as separate files is a hassle for everyone on the receiving end.

Merging into a single PDF solves that. One file to email, one file to upload to a portal, one file to print, one ordered table of contents. And because PDF page concatenation is lossless, you don't pay for the convenience with quality — your fonts, images, hyperlinks, and form fields all come through intact.

MergeAny's PDF merger goes one step further than a basic concatenator: pick exactly which pages from each input belong in the output (so you can drop the cover page from one PDF and the bibliography from another), rotate sideways scans before they go in, and drag to reorder so the merged file flows the way you want. No watermarks, no signup, no upload caps you have to pay your way around.

Page-range syntax

How to pick the pages you need

all

Default. Includes every page of the input PDF in the merged output. Use this when you want the whole file.

1-3

A single contiguous range. Pages 1, 2, and 3. Most common when you want the front matter or first chapter only.

1-3,7,9-12

Multiple ranges and individual pages, separated by commas. The order you write them is the order they appear in the merged PDF.

Pages are 1-based. Out-of-range pages are silently dropped. Whitespace around commas and dashes is OK.

How MergeAny compares to other PDF mergers

iLovePDF and SmallPDF are the household names — both are excellent products, both are free at the surface, and both nudge you toward a paid tier the moment you go past 2 files, want to keep your file private, or need it without a watermark. MergeAny doesn't do any of that: 20-file merges are free, no watermark ever, no signup wall.

Adobe Acrobat's desktop app is the gold standard if you already pay for a Creative Cloud plan, but it's overkill for "combine these three contracts into one PDF before I email it." MergeAny gives you the same lossless merge with page-range and rotation control, in your browser, with no install.

The honest trade-off: MergeAny is a focused merger, not a full PDF editor. If you need to add annotations, fill forms, e-sign, or OCR scanned text, use a dedicated PDF editor afterwards. For combining PDFs into one ordered file, this is the fastest path with no strings attached.

Why MergeAny for PDF merging

Everything You Need to Combine PDFs

A focused, private, free PDF merger.

True Lossless Merge

Pages are copied verbatim from your source PDFs — no re-compression, no quality loss, fonts and embedded images preserved exactly.

Per-PDF Page Ranges

Pull just pages 1-3 from one PDF and pages 7-9 from another. Type ranges like "1-3,7,9-12" and only those pages land in the merged file.

Per-File Rotation

Rotate each input PDF 90°, 180°, or 270° before merging — fixes scans that came in sideways without round-tripping through another tool.

100% Private

Your PDFs are processed in memory on our backend and deleted the moment the merged file is returned. No copies, no logs, no tracking.

No Limits, No Watermark

Merge up to 20 PDFs (50 MB each) per session, completely free. No subscription wall, no branding stamp on your output.

Works on Any Device

Run the merger from your iPhone, iPad, Android, Mac, or PC — any modern browser. No app to install, no driver required.
