MergeAny combines two or more photos into a single image directly in your browser — perfect for couple photos, Instagram collages, before/after comparisons, recipe cards, or long screenshots. Upload from your iPhone camera roll, Android gallery, or desktop. Output is full resolution with no watermark, and your photos are deleted from our servers seconds after merging.
How to Merge Photos Online
Upload Your Photos
Drag photos from your phone, computer, or gallery into the tool. Up to 20 photos at once. JPG, JPEG, PNG, and WebP all work — bring whatever your camera or phone produces.
Pick a Layout
Side-by-side for couple photos and before/after. Stacked for long screenshots and recipe cards. Grid for collages and Instagram. Drag to reorder before merging.
Save the Merged Photo
Tap Merge — your single photo is ready in seconds. Download to camera roll, share to WhatsApp, or post directly to Instagram. No watermark, no signup.
Why merge photos?
Phones take great single photos but make a mess of presenting them together. The default share-sheet sends each photo as a separate file, the order gets shuffled in WhatsApp, and Instagram's carousel is great until the recipient scrolls past your second slide. Combining the photos into one image is often the right move — one file to send, one image to caption, one frame for the moment.
MergeAny gives you three ways to do it. Side-by-side is the natural pick for couple shots, before/after, and product comparisons — anything where the two photos relate to each other directly. Vertical stacks are perfect for long screenshots (a chat conversation, a recipe, an article worth saving) where each piece reads top-to-bottom. Grids turn 3, 4, 6, or 9 photos into a single Instagram-ready collage.
None of this requires a subscription. None of it adds a watermark. None of it asks you to sign up. Your photos go in, the merged image comes out, and the originals are gone from our servers within seconds. Built for phones first, fast on slow connections, popular in India where this kind of free utility actually matters.
Common reasons people merge photos
Couple photos
Side-by-side portrait shots for engagement announcements, anniversary posts, dating-app profiles. Pick the order, set the spacing, save once.
Before / after
Renovation, fitness progress, garden growth, hair transformation. Side-by-side or top-to-bottom, both photos in one frame so the change is obvious.
Instagram collages
3×3 grids for milestone posts, 2×2 for travel highlights, 1×4 strips for restaurant menus. One post, multiple photos, story-ready.
Long screenshots
Stitch a multi-page chat, a long recipe, or an article into one tall image. Easier to share, easier to read on the receiving end.
Wedding & event albums
Combine ceremony, reception, and detail shots into a single shareable card for WhatsApp groups or family chat without zipping up 30 files.
Scrapbook & memories
Birthday, graduation, baby milestone collages. Merge once, print on a single page, frame it.
Sports formations & lineups
Player headshots into a team formation graphic, lineup cards for fantasy leagues, before/after of a game-winning play.
Recipe cards
Stack ingredient and step photos into a single recipe-card image. Print or share to a group chat without losing the order.
Product comparisons
Sellers on Etsy, OLX, Facebook Marketplace combining product variations into one listing photo. Price tags, color options, size charts in a single image.
How to merge photos on iPhone (without an app)
Apple Photos doesn't have a built-in merge feature — you can't combine two iPhone photos into one image without third-party software. The App Store options are paid, ad-heavy, or both. MergeAny works in Safari, no install required, no subscription.
- Open Safari on your iPhone and go to
mergeany.com/merge-photos. - Tap the upload area, then choose Photo Library. Select two or more photos from your camera roll.
- Pick a layout — side-by-side for couple shots, vertical for long screenshots, grid for collages.
- Drag the photo thumbnails to reorder if needed. Adjust spacing if you want a gap between them.
- Tap Merge Photos. The result downloads to your Files app or you can long-press and choose Save to Photos.
Tip: If you want the merged photo back in your camera roll, use Save to Photosfrom the Safari long-press menu. If you're sharing immediately, just tap the share icon in the download preview and pick WhatsApp, Instagram, or Messages.
Merge photos online vs. Photoshop
Photoshop can absolutely merge photos — open both as layers in one document, position them on the canvas, flatten, export. It's the right tool when you need pixel-level masking, blend modes, or feathered transitions between two photos. For everything else, the answer is "you didn't need Photoshop for that."
MergeAny does the 90% case — combine into one image with a clean layout — in 10 seconds and zero install. No Creative Cloud subscription ($20.99/mo), no Photoshop learning curve, no waiting for the splash screen. If your output is going to social media, WhatsApp, or a group chat, the speed difference matters more than the layer-mask precision.
The honest split: use MergeAny for combining photos into a single shareable image. Use Photoshop when you need to blend, color-match, or composite the photos together as if they were one continuous scene.
